Ada Speight

With sorrow filled hearts the staff of R. Swinson Funeral Service announces the death of Ada Speight, 93, of 107 Dover St. passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at UNC Lenoir Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will take place 11am Saturday, November 26, 2016 at the St. James FWB Church with Elder Willie Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Cemetery. Visitation will take place Friday, November 25, 2016 from 4-7PM at the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel.

​Survivors include: two daughters, Shelia Speight of Grifton and Mary E. Johnson of Baltimore , Md.; a son-in-law, a sister-in-law, Vivian Marie Coley of  Wilson, NC.; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The Speight Family appreciates all acts of kindness being shown to them during this of bereavement.
