Adolphus Herring

Mr. Adolphus "Doc" Herring, 63, of 800 Paylor Drive, died Sunday, July 26, 2009, at Lenoir Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 30 at Swinson Funeral Service with the Rev. John Flowers officiating. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery with military honors. Survivors include his wife, Virgi D. Herring of the home; sons Teneka Dupree of the home, Renaldo Dupree of North Dakota; daughter Taleesha Dupree of Kinston; brother Willie Herring of Kinston; sister Doris Moore of Kinston; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 29 at the funeral home. Professional services entrusted to Swinson Funeral Service.
