Alton Ray "Buck" Wiggins, Sr.

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Wiggins Family announce the transition of 85 year old Mr. Alton Ray "Buck" Wiggins, Sr. of 1303 Par Drive, Kinston on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at UNC Lenoir Health Care.

Service will be held 1:00pm Sunday, October 20, 2024 from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel, burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 4 to 6pm from the chapel.

Mr. Wiggins is survived by his wife, Charlotte Wiggins, of the home, four sons, Alton Ray Wiggins, Jr. of the home, Michael Hargett of Kinston, Willie Hargett of Charlotte, NC, and Jerome K. Evans of the home, two daughters, Sonia F. Wiggins of Maryland and Dr. Wennifer Danielle Wiggins of Maryland, his aunt, Mamie Williams of Kinston, and a  host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
