The Staff & Mangement of Swinson Funeral Services, Inc. joins in sorrow with the family of Mrs. Amanda Louise Powell-Bynum, 90, who made her heavenly transition home on Saturday, January 23, 2016 surrounded by family.

Services will held on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 12:00 noon from the Hull Road FWB Church with Pastor Wanda Williams officiating. Committal services will take place in the Westview Cemetery. A public visitation will take place on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 PM from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Survivors include:  four sons, Linwood Murriell of Fayetville, Fred Murriell of Grifton, NC, Clarence Bynum of Grifton, Bruce Bynum of Stafford, Va;  three daughters, Mammie Wooten of Kinston, Brenda Anthony of Kinston and Everyln Lucas of Wendell, NC.; thirty-one grandchildren and forty-one great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family & Friends are being received at 1309 Railfence Dr. - Kinston where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral processional.
