Andrew Whitfield, Sr

With sorrowful hearts, the staff of Swinson Funeral Service wish to extend our deepest and heartfelt sympathy in the passing of 99 year old, Andrew “Rooster” Whitfield, Sr. of 110 East King Street. He passed Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Vidant Medical Center.

Visitation will be from 4 – 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at Swinson Funeral Service, Inc. The funeral will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, September 29, 2013 at St. Matthew Free Will Baptist Church with Dr. Claude D. Sawyer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Matthew Church Cemetery.
