Berniece Berry Ward

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Ward Family announce the transition of 92-year-old Mrs. Berniece Ward of 845 Highway 41 E. Trenton, NC on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at ECU Medical Center in Greenville.

Service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, July 15, 2023 from Kings Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Trenton, burial to follow in Haiti Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023 from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel from 4 to 6 pm.

Mrs Ward is survived by one son- Melvin Ward of Trenton, NC, three daughters-Darnell Tice, Armeta Fields and Jerwanda Tice all of Kinston, one brother-Edward White of Maryland, eight grands and eleven great grands and a host of other relatives and friends.
