With heavy hearts, we, the staff and management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, announce the transition of 81-year-old Betty Jean Sutton, formerly of Kinston, N.C., who passed on Thursday, March 19, 2024, in Memphis, Tenn. Health Care.
Service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 2:00 pm from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024, from the chapel from 4 to 6 pm.
Miss Betty is survived by one son-Kevin Lamont Sutton of Holtsvile, NJ., two- daughters-Cathy Michelle Sutton-Newborn of Memphis, Tenn, and Wanda Dean Sutton of Raleigh, NC; three brothers-Billy Sutton of Snow Hill, NC, Danny Sutton of Grifton, NC and Larry Sutton of Kinston, NC, two sisters- Janie Morton and Judy Sutton of Kinston, NC, seven grandchildren, and seventeen great grands.
