The Staff & Management of Swinson Funeral Services joins in sorrow with the family of, 85 year old, Bishop Mordecai Johnson who passed from labor to reward on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from the Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
Funeral Services will take place 11 am Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from the United American Free Will Baptist Tabernacle with Gerald Bishop Alton Smith, officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Church Cemetery. Survivors include, wife, Queenie Johnson of the home, one son, Richard Johnson of Salem, N.C., and 2 grandchildren. Visitation will take place Monday, March 10, 2014 from 3-5:30 p.m. at the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel. A wake will take place Monday, March 10, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at the Saint John Church of Christ Disciples of Christ Church in Dover
