Swinson Funeral Services announce the death of Mr.Jasper Koonce, of 303 N. McLewean St., ., which passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held 1pm Saturday May 7, 2011 from the Post Oak FWB Church with Pastor Charlie Howell officiating. Burial will follow in Bright Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Coreen Koonce of Montana; sons Jereamy E. Koonce of Durham, Dallas Koonce of Greenville, Alvin Koonce of Georgia and Ronnie Canady of Kinston; sisters Jazie K. Dove of Georgia, Dora K. Brantley of Washington, D.C., Beatrice K. Brooks of Massachusetts; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. Friday, May 6, at Swinson Funeral Services.
