Brenda Koonce

With sorrowful hearts, the staff of Swinson Funeral Services,Inc. would like to announce the passing of 63 year old Ms. Brenda S. Koonce of Kinston which passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2011 from Lenoir Memorial Hospital.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, December 29, 2011 from the St. Mark Church Ministries with Reverend Larry Lynch officiating. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband Linwood Koonce of Kinston, one son: Corey Jenkins of Kinston NC, three daughters; Paula Jenkins Howard, Renetta Jenkins, and Tomacka Jenkins Koonce all of Kinston, one brother; Preston Stanford of New York, one sister; Sherill Hill of Georgia, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
