Burrell Moore

Mr. Burrell Van Moore, 63 of 2204 Rouse Road. Departed this life on Monday June 14, 2010 at his home. Funeral service will be held at 3 PM, Saturday, June 19, 2010 from the United American Free Will Baptist Tabernacle in Kinston. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Those left to cherish his memory include three sons: Moya Moore, Burrell Moore, Jr., and Omare' Powell, all of Kinston; four daughters: Lanetta Badger of Kinston, Sekinah Wade of Ohio, Jada Jones of Kinston, and Jermicey Moore of Raleigh; two brothers: Anthony Moore of Maryland and Orlander Moore of San Diego, California; four sisters: Mattie Davidson of Washington, DC, Blendia Joyner of Kinston, Ella Moore-Clarke of Kinston, and Evelyn Moore-Knight of Washington, DC; eight grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. The public visitation will take place on Friday, June 18, 2010 from 3-8 PM from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.
