Mr. Carl L. Kornegay, 88 of 1100 Lincoln Street departed this life Saturday December 5, 2009 at Lenoir Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday Decmeber 11, 2009 at 2 PM fromt the Antioch Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. John Marks officiating. Burial will follow in the Pinelawn Memorial Park. He leaves to cherish his loving memory 1 daughter Carolyn Kornegay of Kinston, 2 brothers Eddie Kornegay of Winston Salem NC, and Thomas Kornegay of Kinston, 1 grandchild, and 1 great grandchild.
