Carl Kornegay

Carl Kornegay Jr., 64, of 1100 Lincoln St. died Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at his home. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2009 from the Antioch Free Will Baptist Church with Elder John Marks officiating. Burial will be held at Pinelawn Memorial Park. Survivors include son, Marvin Dixon of Maryland; father, Carl Kornegay Sr. of Kinston; sister, Carolyn Kornegay of the home; one grandchild. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2009 from the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel. Swinson Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
