With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the King-Warren Family announce the transition of 68 year old Mr. Charlie "Red Man" King of 611 N. Independence Street, Kinston. om Sunday. May 7, 2023 at Harmony Hall Nursing and Rehab. Center in Kinston.
Service will be held 1:00pm-Saturday, May 13, 2023 from First Missionary Baptist Church, burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 4 to 6pm from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.
Mr. King is survived by his mother-Estella K. Warren of the home, thirteen sisters-Randy King of the home, Diana King, Keischer Hutchins, Tammy Warren, Gerald "Apple" Warren of Kinston, Annette Clayton of Durham, Requel Page of Grifton, Sheila Coley, Charlestine Coley, Danita Coley, Tracie Coley, Marella Coley, Enza Coley of Richmond, Va., four brothers- Jackie. L. King of Kinston, Ireory Coley, Kelvin Coley, Freeman Coley of Richmond, Va. a host of aunts uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and other relatives and friends.
