Chester Dixon

Chester Dixon, 30, of 795 Up Creek Road, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at his home. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday Dec. 16 in the Undenominational Pentecostal Holiness Church in Rocky Run with Bishop Joseph Squires officiating. Burial will follow at Core Creek Cemetery in Cove City. Survivors include daughter Aniya Simmons-Dixon of New Bern; son Omarion L. Simmons-Dixon, of New Bern; sister Marie Dixon of Cove City; and brothers Richard Dixon IV of Jacksonville and Kelsey L. Dixon of Cove City. Viewing will be held one hour before the service Tuesday at the church. Remains rest in the care and comfort of Swinson Funeral Service, Inc. at 208 E. Blount Street, Kinston, North Carolina.
