Eldress Cora L. Jones

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Jones Family announce the transition of 81 year old Eldress Cora L. Jones on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 in New Bern, NC.  

Service will be held 1:00pm Saturday, February 11, 2023 from Holly Branch FWB Church, burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Friday, February 10, 2023 from 4 to 6pm from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Eldress Jones is survived by five sisters-Debbie Dean Jones Wallace of Kinston, Delores Jones Smith of Grimesland, Nc, Lottie Jones McKilvey of Monks Corner, SC, Georgia Mae Jones Uzzell of Mountainside, NJ, Clementine Jones Pearson of South Carolina, two brothers-Nathaniel Jones (Lillie) of El Paso, Texas and James Franklin Jones of Kinston, a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and other relatives and friends.
