The Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services mourn with the Rhone family on the death of Ms.Cynthia Rhone, formerly of Kinston,  who passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019, in Florida.

Services will be on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at 1:00 PM at the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel. Burial will take place in the Westview Cemetery. A public visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019, from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Cynthia Imogene Ramsay-Rhone, nee Crutchley, formerly of Kinston, NC and Lawrence Tavern, Jamaica, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s residence in Debary, FL on September 29, 2019, after a valiant fight with cancer. Cynthia was born to the union of the late Charles Anthony and Bernice May Crutchley on October 2, 1939. She was preceded in death by her husband: Israel Rhone; her parents, Charles and Bernice Crutchley; sister, Naomi Walters, and brother Winston Crutchley.

Cynthia leaves behind to cherish her memory: six sons, Clement (Charlene), Herbert, Everton (Janice), Davon, Robert (Antoinette) and Richard (Claudia); her only daughter, Sharon (Earl); sister, Infanta; brother, Reginald; uncle, Samuel;  eighteen grandchildren;  seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and friends; including Wilhelmina, Cassandra, Dahlia, Angela, Shelia, Nova Elaine, Williams, George, Winston, the ladies of  "Sisters Helping Sisters Club"  and a very special and dear friend, Deon Rose.
