Mrs. Debbie Sparrow, 55, of 3515 Poole Road died on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 1:30 PM from Grainger Chapel Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ with Bishop Malcolm S. Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Southview Cemetery. Survivors include one son, Johnny Sparrow of Kinston, NC; one daughter, Sheila Roberts of Raleigh, NC; five brothers, David Williams of Ayden, NC,Bernard Williams of Grifton, NC, Reginald Williams of Kinston, NC, Leslie Williams of New Jersey, and Edward Williams of New Jersey; one sister, Geraldine Chapman of Grifton, NC; eight grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. A public visitation will take place on Friday, Novmber 19, 2010 from 3-8 PM at Robert A. Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.
