Delzora King

Delzora Stanley King, 84, of 369 McCrae St., died Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21 at Grifton Chapel Church of Christ-Disciples of Christ with the Rev. Mary McCarter officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Estates. She leaves to cherish her loving memory daughters Treasa Stanley of Englewood, N.J., Jackie Miller of the home; son Gerry Stanley of the home; step-daughters Dorothy Hines of Jacksonville, Alice F. Goffrey of Dayton, Ohio, Daisy M. Pittman of Hubert, Elena Mattock and Julia Rambert of Greenville; step-son Jerry King Jr. of Garnersville; and 31 grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20 at the funeral home. Professional services entrusted to Swinson Funeral Service.
