D'onte R. Johnson

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Johnson Family announce the transition of 31 year old Mr. D'Onte R. Johnson of Kinston, passed on Sunday April 23, 2023 at ECU Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

He was preceded in death by his father-Maurice Johnson, his maternal grandfather-Raymond E. Whitfield, Sr, his paternal grandmother-Mary Loomis, his paternal grandfather-Leamon Olds, his maternal aunt-Teresa J. Whitfield, his paternal Aunt, Mariah Johnson his paternal uncle Reginald Loomis.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother-Jeanette Rhem Stevens, step father-Michael R. Stevens, Sr., one brother-Michael R. Stevens, Jr. all of LaGrange, NC, one sister Kimora Drake of Kinston, grandmother-Patricia Ann Rhem of the home., four aunts-Georgia Ann Rhem of Glen Burnie, Maryland, Cassandra "Kay" Rhem, Fredrica Whitfield of Kinston, Tangela Johnson of Boston, MA., one uncle Raymond E. Whitfield of Kinston.
