Mother Doris Mae Harris Dixon

With heavy and sorrowful hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, join the Dixon family in announcing the transition of 89-year-old Mother Doris Dixon of Snow Hill, NC, who transitioned on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Gentiva Hospice Center of Goldsboro, NC.

 The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Shady Grove Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour before the service. 

There will be no public visitation at the funeral home.
