Dorothy Hill

Dorothy N. Hill, 75, of 511 N. Queen St., Apt. 1-C, departed this life Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3 at the United American F.W.B. Tabernacle with the Rev. Samuel Hardy officiating. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park. Survivors include her husband, Luby Hill Jr. of Kinston; sons Aaron Hill of La Grange, Wilfred Hawkins, Michael Hill and Timmy Hill of Kinston, Dalton Haw-kins of Maryland, Curtis Hill of Florida, and Luby Hill III of Virginia; daughters Linda Gray, Karen Williams and Eva Carmon, all of Kinston; brothers Rufus Hawkins of Fort Barnwell, Johnny Hawkins of South Carolina, Charles Hawkins and Dempsey Hawkins of Kinston and Gerald Hawkins of New York; sisters Byrtle Mitchell of Fort Barnwell, Nancy Paul, Lula Sutton and Holland Hawkins, all of Kinston; 31 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2 at the funeral home. Professional services entrusted to Swinson Fuenral Service.
