Mrs. Dorothy T. Oliver, 68 of 803 Joyner Drive Apt. C, departed this life Thursday April 15, 2010 at home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday April 24, 2010 at 11 AM from the Swinson Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow in the Haiti Cemetery in Trenton. She leaves to cherish her loving memory husband Johnny Oliver of the home, 2 sons Michael Whitfield of Schenectady New York and Alton Thurman of Schenectady New York, 3 daughters Beverley Thurman Jones of New Britian CT, Barbara Allen and Shirley O'neal both of Kinston, 2 brothers Emmanuel Whitfield of Kinston and Leo Whitfield of Georgia, 1 sister Betty Whitfield of Raleigh NC 16 Grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Viewing will be held on Friday April 23, 2010 3 PM to 8 PM at the funeral home. Arrangments entrusted to Swinson Funeral Service.
