Swinson Funeral Services announce the death and funeral services for Mr. Douglas Roger Williams, 52, formerly of Snow Hill, which passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, at Hickory Grove Church of Christ with Pastor Shelton Keyes officiating. Burial will follow in the Koonce Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Debbie K. Williams of the home; sons Curtis Koonce and Donea Koonce of Massachusetts; daughter Erica Russell of Kinston; brothers Roosevelt Williams Jr. of Boston, Mass, David Williams of Greenville; sisters Annie Chadwick and Thelma Grady of Boston, Mass.; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, from the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel.
