Dr. DeOther Melvin

The Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services mourn with the Melvin  family on the transition of Dr. Deother Melvin, of 327 Haw Branch Rd. in Richlands, who passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville.

Services will be on Friday, July 2, 2021, at 12:00 PM at Catalyst Church, 1985 Gum Branch Rd, Jacksonville, NC. Burial will take place in the Coastal Carolina Veteran Cemetery in Jacksonville. following the funeral service. A public visitation will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021, from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Dr. Melvin leaves to cherish his beloved memory: his wife, Carolyn Melvin; children, Clifford Melvin, Gail Quirk; brother, Jeramiah Melvin; sisters, Mary Williams, Patricia Brisbon, and Doris Williams.
