The Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services announces the death of Mrs. Esther Mae Mewborn Maye, 83 years old, who transitioned from this world on Thursday, December 16, 2017 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh.

Services will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 1:00 PM from the Herring Grove FWB Church with Pastor Clevon Maye, Jr. officiating. Burial will take place in the Parrott Cemetery. A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM from the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Survivors include:four sons, Louis Maye, New Jersey, Clevon Maye Jr. of North Carolina, Ronald Maye of Dudley, NC, and Timothy Maye of New Jersey; one daughter, Pamela Maye of Carey, NC; eight grandchilden and 9 great grandchildren.
