Fletcher Jones

The Rev. Fletcher Jones Jr., 53, of 4212-Apt B. North Edge Road died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville. Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, at Greater Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. John Flowers officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Southview Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Marian H. Jones of the home; Mother Louise Jones of Kin-ston; two sons, Murle Edward Davis of Ashville and Derrick Davis of Ayden; daughter Bryanna K. Johnson of Indiana; three brothers, Joshua Blount, Joseph A. Jones and Johnathan Jones, all of Kinston; two sisters, Daisy M. Platt of Kinston and Thelma Hayes of Maryland; Viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Remains rest in the care and comfort of Swinson Funeral Service at 208 E. Blount Street, Kinston, North Carolina.
