Fornell Williams

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Williams Family announce the transition of 67 year old Mr. Fornell Williams on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at his home.  

Fornell was born in Kinston, NC to the late Roger and Fannie Williams on August 23, 1956.

Affectionately  known as "Tap" or " BMore" to his family and friends, Fornell attended Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville, NC.  He enlisted in the Army shortly thereafter and was honorably discharged.  In his youth, Fornell was very active in sports. He played basketball, football.  Most notably he excelled at swimming and swam for the Holloway Sharks in Kinston. 

Fornell is preceded in death by both parents, Fannie and Roger Williams, Sr.

Fornell is survived by one brother-Roger Jr. (NC), sisters-Brenda Chavis (DE) and Fornice Williams (DE).
A farewell service at the family cemetery will be held for the immediate family.
