Mr. Gary Lee Wooten 50, of 504 Airport Road Kinston departed this life Friday October 9, 2009 at Lenoir Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Friday October 16, 2009 at 1 PM from the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Goldsboro with the Dr. Kenneth Tate Officiating. Burial will follow in the Wayne Memorial Park. He leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife Sophia Wooten of the home, 2 children Natasha Moore of Aberdeen MD, Maurice Moore of Fort Washington Maryland, adopted son Josiah Coward of Kinston NC, 4 sisters Ida Hooks, Deboroah Richardson(Charles) and Vickie Rudd all of Goldsboro NC, and Sharon Bodie(Rickey) of Rocky Mount NC, 2 brothers Kenneth Pearsall(Minnie) of Dudley, NC and James Pearsall of Goldsboro NC., 8 Grandchildren Anthony, Deja, Ameir, Anayha, Nakaya, Nakieea, Alana and Amira. Viewing will be held on Thursday October 15, 2009 3 PM to 8 PM at the funeral home. Professional services entrusted to Swinson Funeral Service.
