General Vice-Bishop Emeritus - Malcolm S. Johnson

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Johnson Family, announce the transition of 69-year-old General Vice-Bishop Emeritus Malcolm S. Johnson of Dover on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Kitty Askins of Goldsboro, NC.

Service will be held from 11:00 a.m. to Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the Goldsboro-Raleigh District Assembly in Goldsboro, NC. Burial will follow on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 10:am from the State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro. Visitation will be held one hour before service in Goldsboro.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Judy Johnson, of the home; five daughters, Dr. Shieghetha Edwards of Wake Forest, NC, Malveata Collins of Chocowinity, NC, Janyelle Johnson of Cary, NC, Satrina Johnson of Wilson, NC, and Jasmin Horton of Kinston, his brother, Randy Johnson of Dover, NC, six grandchildren, and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
