The Staff & Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services and the Taylor family regretfully announces the transition of 67-year-old, George Robert Taylor Jr, also known as "Robbie", who passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020, peacefully at home.

Graveside Services will be on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at  noon at Pinelawn Memorial Park.  A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.

He leaves to cherish his beloved memories:

His beautiful wife, Valerie G. Taylor; his step sons, Dontrey Greene, Donnel Greene, both in Kinston; his brothers, Shannon Sutton in Kinston, Jeremy Taylor in Tennessee ; sisters, Brenda F. Sutton, Judith Parks, both in Kinston, Vanessa Taylor, Doris Gardner, both in Durham, Cheryl R. Taylor, in Tennessee; four grandchildren, and host of family and friends.
