Swinson Funeral Service announces the death of Mr. Gerald Brown, 61 of 701 W. Highland Ave. Who passed Monday May 9, 2011 at Durham VA Medical Center in Durham NC. Services will be Saturday May 14, 2011 at Greater Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Antonio Garner officiating. Burial will follow at Southview Cemetery. Survivors include 1 brother Delmus Brown of Fayetteville NC and 1 sister Kim Brown of Kinston. Visitation will be held from 3pm - 8pm on Friday May 13, 2011 at the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel.
