With heavy hearts, we, the staff and management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Powell family, announce the transition of Gloria Jean Davis Powell of 108 Churchill Rd, Hookerton, NC, 28538, who transitioned January 2, 2024 at her residence.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, January 8, 2024, from Greater Victory Church 5740 US-258, Snow Hill, NC 28580. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park A public visitation will be held Sunday 4-6 P.M. at Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel.
