Harry Hardy,Sr

With sorrowful hearts, the staff of Swinson Funeral Services would like to announce the passing of Mr. Harry Hardy, Sr. who left from this earthly life on Thursday, February 26, 2015. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, at First Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday with Masonic Rights held at 6 p.m. at Swinson Funeral Service.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma Hardy of the home; sons, Harry Hardy Jr. of the home, Maurice Hardy of Hagerstown, Md., and Herbert McMillian of Portsmouth, Va.; daughter, the Rev. Freda Humphrey of Smithfield; and sister, Theon Hardy of Kinston.
