Harvey Lee Gooding

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Gooding Family, announce the transition of Mr. Harvey Lee Gooding of Kinston on Saturday, February 15, 2025, in Pittsboro, N.C. 

Funeral Services from the St. Peter COC-DOC will be held at noon on Saturday, February 22, 2025. Burial will follow at noon at the North Carolina State Veterans Cemetery on Monday, February 24, 2025. Visitation from the Robert Swinson Memorial Chapel will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2025.

Mr. Harvey is survived by one son, Brandon Gooding of Sims, NC, one daughter, Naomi Chamblee of Kentucky, one brother, Daniel W. Gooding of Virginia, and a host of other relatives and friends.
