Swinson Funeral Services announce the death and funeral services for Mr. Harvey Jones, 69, of 214 W. Washington, Ave., died Monday, June 6, 2011, at home.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 10, at Grainger Chapel Church of Christ with Bishop Raymond Suggs officiating. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park. Survivors include son Melvin Jones of High Point; sister Leona J. Jackson of Elizabeth, N.J.; brothers Robert E. Jones and Michael Latham of Kinston, Walter L. Latham Jr. of Elizabeth, N.J.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held form 3-8 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2011 from the Robert SwinsonJr. Memorial Chapel.
