With heavy hearts, we the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Edwards and extended families announce the transition of 96-year-old Miss. Helen Edwards of 302 E. Highland Avenue, Kinston NC. Who was summoned by the Lord to enter eternal rest on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Harmony Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at St. John AME Zion Church Fort-Barnwell. Burial will follow the funeral services at Mitchell Family Cemetery in Fort Barnwell. A public visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023, from the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel.
