Horace "Pop Charlie" Ambrose

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Ambrose Family, announce the transition of 61- year-old Mr. Horace Ambrose of 511 N. Queen Street Kinston on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at home.

The service will be held at noon on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the chapel on Thursday, March 20, 2025.

Mr. Ambrose is survived by his son, Marquis Jenkins of Georgia; two brothers, Brian Ambrose of New Jersey and Corey Floyd of Kinston; and his sister, Darcel Morgan.
