Mr. Iredell Tilghman, 63 of 2101 Hardee Road Kinston died Tuesday July 28, 2009 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 1, 2009 at 11 AM from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with Brother William Martin Jr. Officiating. He is survived by Wife Annie S. Tilghman of the home, 3 sons Lathereo Tilghman of Georgia, Iredell G. Tilghman of Boston Mass., and Rafael Tilghman of Boston Mass, 2 daughters Lucretia McMurtry of Kinston, Tiwuana Tilghman, Boston Mass., 2 brothers Raymond Tilghman of Florida and Joe Scratch of New Jersey, 1 sister Flossie Taylor of Kinston and 6 Grandchildren. Viewing will be held on Friday July 31, 2009 3 PM to 8 PM at the funeral home. Professional services entrusted to Swinson Funeral Service.
