Swinson Funeral Services announce the death of Mr. James Odems, Jr., 84 of 534 Martin Luther Kings Blvd passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2011 from Kinston Rehabilitation Center.

Graveside Services will be held 11am Wednesday, July 20, 2011 from the Hickory Grove Cemetery with Elder Jerry Shingleton officiating. Survivors include daughters: Mary Gillis and Gloria Sykes of New Bern NC, 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
