With heavy hearts, we, the staff and management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, join the Lewis family in announcing the transition of Mr. Jessie Lewis of 711 Cunningham Rd—Kinston, NC, who passed on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at his home.

Service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, July 5, 2024, from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel; burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park.  Visitation will be held one hour before funeral time.

Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife-Brenda Lewis, of the home; one son, Jesse Lewis of Kinston, two daughters-Sunya Lewis of Raleigh and Omega Lewis of Durham; three brothers, Anthony Lewis of Connecticut, David Langs and Melvin Langs of Snow Hill. One sister, Celestine Streeter of Ayden.  Five grandchildren, one great grand and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends
