With sorrow filled hearts the staff of R. Swinson Funeral Service announces the death of Mr. John Charlie Muriel, 91, of 3949 Neuse Rd., died on Sunday, January 1,2017 at home.

Services are scheduled for Tuesday, January 10, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. from the Faith Tabernacle Holiness Church

with Pastor Robby Millard officiating. Burial will take place in Pinelawn Memorial Gardens. A public visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Survivors include: wife, Katherleen Murrell of the home; six sons, Charlie Murrell of Kinston, Lynwood Murrell of Kinston, Bruce Murrell of Kinston, Billy Murrell of Clayton, NC, Alonzo Murrell, of Kinston and Randy Murrell of Kinston; five daughters, Sarah Jones, of Grifton, Betty Murrell of Greenville, Valeeteen Murrell of Kinston, Linda Gray of Kinston, of Rose Brown of Kinston; George Rhoe, of Kinston; and twenty-two grandchildren.

The Muriel Family appreciates all acts of kindness being shown to them during this of bereavement.
