Mr. John “Dot” Stevenson Sr., 67 of 2504 Alma Drive, Kinston departed this life Saturday May 29, 2010 at home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 5, 2010 at 12 Noon from the Christian Fellowship Center in Browntown, with Bishop Charles White officiating. Burial will follow in the Tabor Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Katie H. Stevenson of the home, 4 sons John Stevenson Jr. of Wilmington NC, Andre Franklin of Greenville NC, Willie Holloway and Bobfernand Holloway both of Kinston, 2 daughters Pamela Stevenson of Snow Hill NC, Marijuana Ford of Kinston, sisters Mellisa Williams of Kinston, Annetta Soyode Fort Washington MD, Sandra Stevenson of Clayton NC, Mildred Thompson of Fort Washington MD, and Linda Sutton of Atlantic City NJ, brothers Charles Stevens, of Washington DC, Stanley Doris of Raleigh NC, James Carney of New York NY, Eugene Carney of Fort Washington MD and Lewy Stevenson, of Hampton VA.
