Eldress Katherleen Sheppard, 69 of 1107 A Desmond Street departed this life on Tuesday May 12, 2009 at her home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 16, 2009 at 3:30 PM from the United American Free Will Baptist Tabernacle with the Bishop Chester Aycock officating. Burial to follow in the Evergreen Memorial Estates in Grifton NC. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Charles Sheppard of Kinston 4 brothers, Henry Rhem of Greenville, Connie Ray Rhem of Richmond VA, Robert Rhem of Kinston NC, and David L. Rhem of Jacksonville NC, 4 sisters Edna Whitney Hubert NC, Irene R. Edward Thelma Dudley and Linda Alford all of Kinston. There will be a viewing on Friday May 15, 2009 3 PM to 8 PM.
