Khalid Byrd

Mr. Khalid Byrd, 14, of 501 Dixon St., departed this life Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009. The funeral will be held at noon Tuesday, Nov. 17 at United American F.W.B. Tabernacle with the Rev. Tyshun Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery, Edenton. Survi-vors include his father, Sharif Byrd of Edenton; mother Trista Jones of Kinston; sisters Ny-dera Byrd, Shyaja Byrd, and Shantise Bryd, all of Edenton, and Daquana Jones of Kinston; grandparents Glenna Jones, and Thomas Jones of Edenton, Joslin White of Georgia, and Leroy Mannick of Philadelphia, Pa. Professional services entrusted to Swinson Funeral Service.
