Bishop Landon O. Burney, 68 of 610 Daughety Road died Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at Lenoir Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be Friday, July 18, 2008 from 3-5 PM at Swinson Funeral Service and from 6-8 PM at Family Worship Center Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 12 NOON at United Gospel Outreach Church with Bishop James E. Smallwood officiating. Interment will take place on Monday, July 21, 2008 at 10 AM at Coastal Carolina Veteran's Cemetery in Jacksonville, NC. He leaves cherished memories to:
