With sorrowful hearts, the staff of Swinson Funeral Services would like to announce the death of, 89 year old, Mr. Leslie Thorbs of 287 Tucker St-Grifton who passed from this earthly life on Friday, February 15, 2013.

A Homegoing Celebration will take place on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 from the River of Life Christian Center in Kinston NC with final burial rites to follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will take place from 2pm-4:30pm Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 from the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel. A further wake will take place at the Zion Temple Church in Grifton, NC from 5-7pm Friday evening.
