Lillie Durant

Mrs. Lillie Durant, 64, of 104 N. Melvin St., departed this life Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16 at St. James A.M.E. Church with the Rev. Carmichael officiating. Survivors include sons Charles L. Durant Jr. of Charlotte, Darryl L. Durant of Norfolk, Va.; daughters Tracy L. Durant-Walker of Lake Wylie, S.C., Romona K. Rodriguez of Ayden; brothers Thomas McCrary, Payton McCrary, Elton McCrary and Alonzo McCrary, all of Mississippi, Gene McCrary of Indiana, and David McCrary of Alabama; sisters Jessie Ruth Mosley of Colorado, Ella Lyons of Indiana, Vivian McCrary, Elizabeth Peay-Miller, and Bennie Bonner, all of Mississippi, Dorothy Schenck of North Carolina; and three grandchildren.
