Lillie Durant

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Service, along with the Durant  Family, announce the transition of Mrs. Lillie Durant, 94, of 805 Girl Scout Road, Kinston, on Friday, June 17, 2022, at her home. 

Graveside service will be held at noon Thursday, June 23, 2022, from Southview Cemetery.  There will be no public visitation. 

Mrs. Durant is survived by two daughters-Joretta Durant Speight of Kinston and Barbara Anderson of New Jersey, two brothers- Willie L.  Joyner of Virginia and Robert Williams of Maryland, and one sister-Vanessa Taylor of Durham, NC, seven grandchildren, and four great-grands.
