- With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, announce the transition of 75-year-old Ms. Mable Lee Griffin of 101 N. Forbes Street, LaGrange, NC 28551, who entered into Eternal Rest on October 4, 2024, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
- Service will be held 11:00am Thursday, October 10, 2024 from St. Luke Free Will Basptist Church in LaGrange, burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6pm Wednesday, October 9, 2024 from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.
- Mrs. Griffin is survived by four sons-Cody Griffin, Christopher Griffin of Kinston, Gary Griffin of Winterville, NC and Andre Griffin of Greenville, NC, one daughter-Katherine Griffin of Kinston, one sister-Mary Griffin Johnson of Goldsboro, NC a host of other relatives and friends.
